Despite unemployment, I couldn't resist a few camera acquisitions recently.
They were just too good to pass up. Buying great stuff below market value. Can you blame me? OK Viagra nebenwirkungen OK you can.
Canon 7s rangefinder and 50mm f/0.95 lens:

This is lens of ungodly aperture is also called the "dream lens". Most lenses do not have such a wide aperture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F_stop calls it "exceptional".
Leica makes a 0.95 too, but its $11k.
Voigtlander just came out with one too, for the 4/3rds camera. http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-20022111-1.html

Levitra ordonnance Then I got the camera CLA'd, which cost $200. But still it was an awesome deal.

Here are some shots with it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/espressobuzz/tags/f095/. It's super wide aperture lets me shoot in very dim light, and delivers a nice shallow depth of field. I am a shallow DOF junkie.

~1920s Auto Graflex:

This camera shoots 4×5 sheet film. And its an SLR! So its WAY easier to focus on the fly, like its 35mm SLR grandchildren. I have other 4×5 cameras, but because you can't look through them moments before taking the picture, you have to keep the distance between the subject and your camera constant while loading the film, which kills spontaneity. I can't wait to shoot some super shallow DOF shots with this.
Hasselblad 500C:

I got this from an acquaintance of my dad. The guy was a retired photographer. I think he was shocked at how little its resale value was, compared to original cost. He seriously was expecting to sell for thou$ands per lens, but the whole kit is honestly worth about $1100 or $1200, AFAIK. He sold it to me for $1000. Yay! 6×6 images! And a fun c
amera too!
